6. Account & Data Deletion Rights (Google Play Requirement)

Method 1: In-App Account Deletion

Open the Waka Books app → Profile → Delete account (also under Profile → Account security). Type DELETE to confirm. This does not require the website.

Method 2: Web / Email Request

If you cannot access the app, email us at noreply@wakabooks.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request from your registered email address, or submit a request on our contact page. We will verify and process your request within 7 business days.

What happens upon deletion: Your personal profile, uploaded credentials, messages, and account access will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 days. Historical financial/transaction logs may be retained for up to 1 year solely to comply with accounting and tax regulations.

7. Children's Privacy

Waka Books is intended for readers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a person under 18 has created an account, we will delete that account and associated data.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

Our website uses session cookies, and the mobile app uses secure encrypted local storage solely to retain your active login session and user UI preferences.
